Given that Best already had a concussion from last week going into this game, I hope they don't let him play the rest off the year and jeopardize his future health.
Yes, because no one that needed wireless HDMI would ever have an AV Receiver with HDMI switching, or just an HDMI switch, so that it only needs to transmit one HDMI stream.
Except I'd say McGrady can hurt them if he still thinks that he should be taking as active a role on offense as he was a few years ago. If he shoots in moderation, and plays a role, then he'll help, but if he tries to take over and is only as effective as he was last year, then they have more effective people that can take those shots for them I think.
Why would you use Rod Woodson as an example that "speed doesn't guarantee success in the NFL". Rod Woodson was incredibly fast, but he also made the 75th Anniversary Team, and the Hall of Fame, and was great in addition to being fast. Perhaps picking an example of someone who was fast, but without football skills, would be better.
I don't know about the AKG 272, but my AKG K701's leak sound so badly my wife can easily tell what I'm listening to from across the room. They are fantastic headphones, but I'm waiting to see how long my office mates can deal with them
Keeping under $200, the Shure SHR840's are a very recent headphone that has gotten incredibly positive reviews at head-fi and over at AVGuide.com. They are also supposed to be pretty easy to drive, so you could put off adding a headphone amp until later, if you decide to go that route. I really love my AKG K701's, but they leak a lot of noise, and take a separate headphone amp like the mentioned XCAN V8, to bring out the best in them.

Musical Fidelity also has the VCAN line with a headphone amp for $200 that is much more reasonable in price than the XCAN, and also supposed to be a great product.
I'm going to echo what most people have said here and that, unless you have a massive room, you're better off with 5 speakers than 7, as you would be hard pressed to hear a difference. However, I would suggest that going with a 5.2 (dual subwoofer setup) over 7.1 will give you a change that you can hear. Having dual subwoofers will allow you to position them better to smooth out the bass response, and eliminate a lot of the peaks and valleys in your bass response. It takes up more room of course, and will take a good bit of time to setup right (you'll need to experiment with a lot of different positions for the subs), but you'll notice far more difference with 5.2 than with 7.1 IMO.
I'm pretty sure if Kraft was paying the refs, that BS call on Wilfork for roughing the passer would not have stuck, and that borderline call against Thomas for roughing the passer later in the game wouldn't have been called as well. When calls are going both ways, it's not someone paying off the refs, it's just not liking how the refs are calling the game.
Justin Tuck sure does look a lot like Albert Haynesworth.
Dr House,

Some of us actually do business stuff while on the road or traveling and want something that's really light but also powerful. Sure, I could get a Netbook and use it for SQL Server and C#, but I really wouldn't want to, that's for sure. I'm sure Sony is selling less than they used to, but they are still after a different segment than a Netbook is. I'd use a Netbook for my personal stuff, but not for work.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
