Comcast is already/soon doing it in the Seattle area:

Their 'free' boxes are junk, too.
Still using a 40 inch Sony tube hdtv bought in 2001. Even though it's only 1080i, I have yet to see any technology that looks this good. Plasmas are very nice, but certainly not better. I'd probably buy one and keep the crt around for another room if I had the money laying around, or better yet, a projector. It's nice not being under the gun right now. I bought the 19 inch Sony in my bedroom in 1988. So if that's any guide, the big Sony still has another 13+ years of life in it. So I guess what I'm saying is I'm in no rush to spend money on another TV.
Because the PS3 can't record hd from cable, satellite, or ota. The PC needs to get the content from somewhere, before it can stream anything.
"The iPhone is still Apple's product, and they chose to bind it to AT&T's network (for now), and as much as I hate to say it, these companies get to decide how their products are used."

This is total b.s. Once I buy it, it's mine not Apple's and I can throw it in the sea or give it to a hobo or WHATEVER I want with it.

"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
