Hey, this is OT, but is the engadgetHD podcast dead? What happened to Ben and Matt?
Awesome! and the laptop is not bad either!
Why is it only announced for a Japan release? Will it be available in the US at a similar time? The 360 is a small market in Japan and I wonder if they have limited # of units at this early date. Is this announcement a PR move?
I want one, I really really want one!
Ben, Matt:

Hey, your podcast is starting to grow on me, so thanks for the time and effort you put into it. On a lighter note, scr*w you guys! I am a TIVO Series 3 and HD-DVD early adopter, I've got about $15K invested in my home theater and I shop at Walmart all the time! Perhaps not for home AV components, but for the common essentials of daily life. So don't look down your noses so much at Sam Walton's retail chain.
Hey, Dave, watch the movie, not the player!
So what is your take on this, Ben?
Yes, let's put all our Blu-ray vs. HD-DVD bickering aside for now and embrace Series 3!!!
Is this propaganda? They are getting so desparate, I find it hard to believe anything that is released to the press. Ben, Matt, is this credible?
While Apple may be more in the Blu-Ray camp, the attitude and underdog like position at the start of the format war and the rabid HD-DVD fan boys are very much more in keeping with the spirit of the Mac!

Disclaimer: I own both PC's and Macs. Like the PC's, love the Mac.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
