Hey I am a different Brian who posted that last post. Sry.
I am not sure why you people are saying that mutation is inherent to the theory of evolution. Generally a mutation is not beneficial and impedes the ability to survive, which is opposite to how evolution works. The evolution of a species is very, very gradual. You will never see a single mutated animal contributing to the survival of a group.
Also, you don't need a lot of huge electronic power supplies to power a green laser diode. Everything required for that small projector is probably inside it already.
@jaded

Green laser diodes @ 350mw are much less than $2000. You can use a green laser of less power than that to do what they are doing. Blue lasers are not as bright as green (to human eyes, the green will appear brightest at the same power level), and blue lasers are (were?) much more expensive than green lasers at the moment.
They are putting all the different countries' versions and languages on a single disk. Like instead of one disk version per country it is all countries on one disk. They are also using a higher bitrate for all the audio, so it sounds better. I think all that could easily fill the disk.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
