Not to be a lone voice of dissent, but going HD is not going to solve all of your problems... I have an X360 plugged in to a Viewsonic 3250 32IN LCD display.

I am using component cables and have my x360 set to 720p and widescreen. When I play The Lost Planet Demo, or Dead Rising, I get all sorts of crazy artifacts flying on the screen. Especially during the intro helicopter scene in DR. The 12 ms is not fast enough to prevent visual artifacts!!! Gr.... I am all for upgrading to HDTV but when I can't play a next gen Capcom game on an HDTV because 12ms is too slow, I get angry, Mr. McGee. Oblivion, G.R.A.W., and Call of Duty 2 look great so I am not going to nuke my Viewsonic. I guess I'll have to drag my X360 and connect it to my 19" STV. Blech.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
