Looking here: http://s3.carltonbale.com/resolution_chart.html and considering a standard distance of around 10 feet from the TV, you would need something like a 200 inch screen to be able to see 4K resolution, why would you ever need somethig like this? I guess if maybe that resolution was plastered over a 360 degree experience?
I own a Series 3 and I feel a bit ripped off. This seems to be exactly the Series 3 at almost 1/3 the price. Any thoughts on why they even sell the Series 3?
One thing I can't figure out from anything I have seen/read/heard is whether you can stream to the iTV like you can an export express (from iTunes). If you can only do it from the iTV interface (pulling from the Mac), that would be very annoying and would keep the Airport express around for a long time.
This is great to know and I will definitly keep my child in a car seet for much later in life. But what about the rest of us (and the kids once they get to big for the big carseat)?
Can't wait to see how AV streams between 2 of these babies! We need a review bad.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
