Does it support Heads Up Display mode? ie. flipped for reflection of the windscreen or semi-silvered contact sheet on windscreen.

That would be killer.

What's all this new 3d stuff anyway? In my day we had squint at a flickering CRT at a character comprised of no more pixels than fingers on my hand. Why do you need all this new technology? Whats wrong with black and white? Wah wah wah!

Honestley people. You call yourselves geeks? Ever heard of technological evolution. 3D Gaming is about immersing yourself into another world and any bitching about technologies that help take us users closer to these worlds are basically flatearthers (pun intended). Most of the critisisms stem from peoples experiences from lack luster yet nessesary 3D delivery systems in the past. If they had half a brain they would be aware of the recent technological advances that can place a reasonably priced (in my opinion) full color stereoscopic display system infront of a consumer audience. Yet they still whine. Sure there will allways be these idiots that yern for their gaming and films on their bloated ugly 4:3 CRT's just because that's what they know and dont want their little world to change. But I for one .....

welcome our flat yet deep, couch enducing, polarizing glasses wearing, stereocopic delivering - overlords!
Hey.
Reminds me of the new Avatar trailer.

Sorry had to do it.

Woo Hoo

Both Athlon Machines I have support virtulisation.

Will this virtulisation allow me to load non Vista/Win7 compatable drivers for my old yeat greatly missed Logitech Wingman Force feedback joystick?

I so hope so.

It's called Uncanny Valley.

I gotta say I did not like the idea of the xbox avatars at first but I think they (Rare) have hit the sweet spot between the (rather pathetic) Mii's and the early yet somewhat freaky home characters I have seen that have this uncanny trait.

I don't think the Arcade SKU should ever get scrapped. Speaking as an early adopting gamer and media center fan that bought premium 360 and have recently taken the 120gb plunge (sure it was expensive but if you look around you can find some pretty good deals), the prospect of this low price SKU becoming a cheap ass media center extender as well as a gaming machine to boot for the parents or kids bedroom makes this a possitively droolworthy option for people like me. Just lock and load the old 20gb drive (that's currently a paperweight) onto the newly bought Arcade system and your ready to rock. Sure I would love too go and buy an Elite but that's just a little hard justifying spending that much and that would still result in me having a spare 20gb drive.

Oh dear.

Sony must be laughing their ass off.

Don't get me wrong - I love my 360 but I have been looking at these Mii ripoffs all day and I gotta say even though I love Rare's work it's allready starting to shit me. It could be the oh so bland Grey backgroud swaying me but I dont think I'm going to enjoy this UI update. I am still open to avatars and although Home has been delayed on the PS3 I think Sony are probobly on the right track by choosing a level of realism and environments that back up their grapical claims. This move by MS may just shift the public perception of the 360 in line with the Wii as a kiddie/family console while clearing the air for PS3 (so to speak) too push exclusivly to the hard core gamer demographic. Interesting. Then again if I were in charge of the 360 division and was told from on high to claw back market share copying a console that is selling as fast as a Wii is not too hard to comprehend.

Let's just hope a lot more gets added in the coming weeks/months such as a web browser and MKV playback wouldn't go ass-tray.

I would go and buy an arcade system straight away for me and the wife to enjoy in the comfort of our own bed. Bung on the 20gb drive thats been a paper weight since upgrading to 120gb, grab my sons "spare" controller and it's fun times ahead.

For all those out there that insist on glasses free 3d get over it and put the god damn glasses on. It's kinda like saying yeah I like that car but can you loose the wheels because I WANT MY HOVER CAR NOW GOD DAMMIT. It just aint possible just yet (for more than one user anyway). So what if you look like a nerd, guess what, if your reading this here blog I got some news for ya, you are probably allready one. The benifit of using this technique over neary all of the other ones is that non electronic glasses and therefore lighter cheaper can be used. This means that if it takes off perhaps a little more resources could go into the design aspect making them a little more attractive for all you fickle nerds out there. Also the best part is that a large group of people can watch the same display using these cheaper specs - something every autostereoscopic display currently lacks at the moment.
So yeah glasses up boys and girls. Porn will never look so good.
You will love it beleive me.

dude you should use google more. Google is your friend.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
