That re detecting faces thing does not seem like a very "Mac" thing to do.
Wait, according to the App store description "As an existing user when you update to Shazam 1.8 you will keep unlimited tagging."
I have been using my iPhone for geocaching and the Hip Holster and Juice Pack Air would come in quite handy out in the field.
I don't really have enough room on my desk for a full-sized second monitor.
This thing would be quite useful with my MacBook.
These sound pretty nice. Some of them would make great SMS tones.
If only us iPhone users were allowed to change that :(
I don't think the hacker actually sends a 1-character SMS. Isn't he sending a whole bunch of stuff that overflows and gets executed as code?

I wonder if these will be viewable on an iPhone/iPod? They have had the "digital booklets" for a while now but I don't believe you can transfer those to an iPhone, can you? At least not through iTunes.
I wish I could do something like this on my Windows desktop. My main computer is my MacBook but I use the Windows machine mostly to download video podcasts and push them over to my TiVo HD. Since I don't ever watch them in iTunes I am constantly having to click the exclamation marks.
I'm hearing it too on my 32GB black iPhone. And my serial number does end in 3NR.
In Walt Mossberg's review of the Palm Pre he states:

"I’d note that the new iPhone to be unveiled next week will have lots of added features that could alter those calculations."

He could be mistaken, or just guessing, but who knows??
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
