as a WM user, i gotta say i agree with you guys. the positives on the Android front really make it a great decision for manufacturers. plus it just gets better and better as it matures. WM still has plenty going for it though in the fact that it is a proven and trusted mobile OS as well as being one of the few standard truly open OSes as far as 3rd party apps and mods go. i'm really hoping WM can make a come back with 7 because i feel like the OSes can co-exist, but if 7 tanks, i feel like WM will be the odd man out.
@joefresco

i despise those Droid commercials. they are so criptic, it just doesn't seem like they show enough about the phone. obviously i'm in the minority in this thinking judging from the sales. as a long time Verizon subscriber and new Touch Pro 2 owner, i'm just happy Verizon finally has some smartphones worth talking about.
yea i'm thinking the same thing. i'm a faithful WinMo user and i really want in on this action. i've used the bing gps tracking on my TP2 a couple times but not nearly as good as a standalone gps, mainly because it has no audible instructions and i have to keep looking at the screen to see if i passed my turn. i'm REALLY hoping they do release it though cause i was going to get a standalone gps around christmas time but i can wait and see with fingers crossed for now.
yea i guess your right. i remembered there being an interest fee at K-Mart but i didn't work in that department anyway so i'm not surprised i didn't know (Sporting Goods). makes alot more sense that way lol
i used to work at K-Mart a couple years back. i remember we got super busy around the holidays almost solely because of the layaway department. it's convenient for some, but honestly, like the article says, why would i leave it at the store and make payments on it when i can put it on a credit card and take it home and make payments on it? i mean you get similar interest at both and there are still payment deadlines on both.

it just amazes me that the program hasn't died out yet since they do almost exactly the same thing except you get your product immediately on credit card. i actually just paid off my new desktop like that. i had it for 4 months before i had fully paid for it.
@ Manuel Dongalero

i was thinking the same thing. nobody likes a little tattle tale Joystiq!
cool. i don't really use facebook all that much but i guess it will be cool to show all my actual cool facebook friends how much of a nerd i am.....

facebook was so much better when it was college only IMHO.
yea thats not true man. u need a Windows Live ID which u can get using any old email. same one u would use for Xbox Live.
yea an app that doesn't auto-refresh. i usually just use m.facebook.com instead of the app on my TP2 just for the simple fact that it's kind of crazy i have to keep hitting refresh to see updated data. it should do it automatically or at least have a timer option.
glad it finally has a date. i still wouldn't be surprised if it got delayed again but hey it's progress at least. i've curbed my gaming to almost nothing now since i'm trying to graduate college but this is one of those games that i absolutely NEED to have regardless of what is going on with school.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
