I got to say I love my apple tv's. Got three of them all hardwired and using a custom WHS box to pull content (both HD and SD) from.

Things I wish Apple would fix/add would be the ability to actually reboot the device without pulling the power cord. Scheduling reboots would be nicer.

Mulitchannel AAC audio output as PCM would be a plus.

Playback of 1080p files is needed. I personally find 720p to be sweet spot between resolution and file storage size but thats just me.

Streaming online video would be a plus but will stick with a htpc to overcome stupidness like what Hulu is doing.

iTunes needs more video tagging features. I know you can use meta-x but no such option exists for windows users.

On the purchase/rental front, Apple could get more content. In particular negotiating to get content quicker after it airs and for those providers like HBO that dont publish content till its available on dvd work with those providers to get said content.

Removal of DRM on purchased video files would be nice, but dont see that one happening. At least anytime soon.

On the whole Lafayette selling V, episode or two back Eric mentioned another vampire disappearing and suspected a V dealer and I believe he wants to use Lafayette to determine who that dealer is.

I know its coming to the Atlanta area here soon according to a local rep. If memory serves price was going to be in the $140 - $150 range.

I dont think they want you to make much money as they give you that "nice" option to use real cash to buy what you want.

They can shove that option right up ...
