That piece of bologna I stuffed inside my PS2?
The new iPods lack the ability to use FireWire, not just the cables. There has to be something on-board that makes it work, and Apple canned that in favor of a slimmer form factor
peter: It's a MacBook, so yes, there is a FireWire port, on the left side of it, but no, no ExpressCard. This thing is amazing, and I'd love to get it, but after just springing for a 15" MacBook Pro, $2200+ is unacceptable.
Wow, they must be sad that they sold only 1.04 copies of the game…
I'm not "enthousiastic"
But all kidding aside, Lost Planet is pretty fun.

Microsoft was running out of games to put beta test passes for their next games in.

Maybe they'll bring back Clover?
Lol, the desktop background is one that Apple provides, called Panther Aqua Blue.

Compare this: http://media.arstechnica.com/images/tiger/aqua-blue-panther-small.jpg
to the desktop on either of them.
The spelling and punctuation errors rampant throughout the information, as well as the terrible, terrible page design make me think its a scam. Wouldn't someone who was actually going through with this have updated it by now?
It's pretty obvious, they're redesigning it so it can work with the iPhone well, and they'll have a separate downloads page for it.
Wow, you could totally tell that by looking at iphone.org!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
