WOW, I love it when the comments are better than the original story!!
The product doesn't look that bad but IR sensors on equipment are way to picky to work with this. The funny thing is they don't even have the emitter in front of where the IR sensor is on the equipment, anyone who has been in the industry knows just how ridiculous this picture is; guaranteed not to work.

BTW, Control4 sucks for anything more than a basic system, and their programming software is hideous!!!
Sorry dude, you still need to pay for the Netflix subscription...just like the 360.
@ Bozster....You're an idiot!
Holy crap dude, you should be banned from giving advice on this particular topic. I cringed while reading your comments. SCARY
Wow, must be a slow news day!!!
I swear all Engadget has is cell phone stories now, isn't there Engadget mobile for all of this stuff. Take a glance down the main page and there is a ridiculous amount of cell phone entries. I love my cell phone as much as the next guy, but c'mon guys..this is getting really old. Let the Peabods bashing begin, i knew what i was getting myself into!
Yeah, that was rather dick"ish", wasn't it. Looks like an interesting device, although I highly doubt it would be worth rubbing our face in it just because he has one. If it were a PS3 right at its release I might have been a little jealous, but a Popcorn Hour...not so much! Enjoy it Richard, as it seems you don't have much gear to play with.
Out of all the questions that gets sent to you guys, you pull this one out of the hat to have us chime in on? How about a real scenario that the majority of us come across every day, not a mock college dorm setup question. Dude could spend five minutes looking on the net and get a multi input headphone amp, or audio switcher to get the job done.
Actually, there are quite a few companies that make baluns that only need one cat5, and they don't need to be shielded. Atlona being one. If this wasn't the case then i would have a few clients sitting around with no video or audio on their TV.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
