I actually do think Palm has a bright future with Mr. Rubenstein taking over, though. Right now all of their phones in the lineup look ancient, but I think we may see some interesting things from Palm in Late 2008. I just hope they can stay alive until then!
A palm rep actually told me that when Jon Rubenstein recently took over, he fired the entire Engineering and the QA Departments. That sounds like a good start to a successful company :) (I'm not being sarcastic)
I've seen several Foleo's in the wild. All of the Palm reps that go around the country to cell phone operators received their Foleos over a month ago. They look really cool but the person who was using one in front of me once complained about syncing not working sometimes.
This looks like an amazing phone, and a great replace for my two year old original RAZR phone :) !!! It's ancient!
In the Midwest - ESPN2 is carried by Comcast on the basic digital cable package, I believe.
I think what he was actually trying to reference was the new international standard, which was invented by Sony and friends (xvYCC or xv Color.) There was an article on this earlier today on engadget as well as the other tech sites.
Apple's decision to switch to Intel was best because of x86. With Intel, Apple has boot camp and can bring over many more switchers than if it had stayed with IBM.
You say they are just 'testing' an emergency radio frequency, eh? This just proves that Stargate exists and we are under attack!!!
Nintendo Wii and soon an Xbox 360.
Only one of my friends own one. :(
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
