"It seems to us that this would be a no-brainer, and we can't understand why anyone would buy any media streamer that won't stream your own media."

I thought this is because the TVs that this was designed for was already DNLA certified (well the ones I've seen), so making this device also DNLA would kind of be double dipping. Though, it would be nice to access the TV's DNLA capabilities through the device.
I would have watched ABC's coverage, but our local ABC station (KGTV) kept cutting in and I am not a fan of their buisness.
I used to go to Blockbuster every Tuesday. But ever since my local franchise raised their rates to $5 for a new release rental, I try to avoid that place as much as possible. I am now considering Netflix. I was a former Blockbuster Online subscriber also, again until they raised their rates.
There were 2 AMC Theatres that recently opened up in San Diego County with all 4K digital projectors. One is in Otay Ranch Town Center (Chula Vista, CA) at 12 screens and the other in Plaza Bonita (National City, CA) at 14 screens.
The only thing is not sure what kind of 4K projectors.
I use OTA even though I have cable due to the fact that OTA has a clearer picture. Compression was not an issue before the roll out of all these other HD channels. But I only get 5 of the 11 channels available in my area.
Office 2007 except for Groove, was a pretty good refresh and great product.
I would have to go with the LifeCam VX-7000. Only until Microsoft got into the Webcam buisness that I started seeing better webcams.
Groceries and gas has taken my gaming money away (20% increase). Hopefully I could put my PS3 to better use other than watching videos.
Klipsch also just launched something like this. Its the CS-500

I do like how the Onkyo was designed, but I am not a big fan of HTIBs.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
