As a native Mainer (living in Virginia), I found your comment characterizing Maine's reputation as the "Deep South of the Northeast" highly offensive. I lived in Maine for 34 years and went to college there and I NEVER heard that comment before. Perhaps that's how out of state college students view Maine people, but it's NOT accurate one bit. Yes, Maine may be a little more conservative than the other New England states but to compare it to the deep south is a real insult.

Are they going to pass out gasmasks at the memorial service?

HDTV doesn't matter with screen sizes below 30 inches so there's no need or use for a portable HDTV set. The "portable" ATSC sets will take the form of laptops or mobile devices equipped with any number of USB ATSC tuners on the market.
Cheryl, Hopeful and all the other homophobes on this board. You claim being gay is a choice. When did you decide to be straight? If you honestly think that gay people choose to be part of such a reviled group, then you're a helluva lot dumber than I thought...

"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
