My Burnout moment predates Burnout. Back in February, 1993, a friend of mine and I were driving in his Toyota Corolla and he was going... well... faster than he should have. He hit a patch of ice and ended up swerving over the curb where he hit an inconveniently-shaped mound of snow which launched us just high enough to land partially on the trunk of a car parked in a driveway. VERTICAL TAKEDOWN!

It's funny 15 year later, but if we hadn't been wearing seatbelts, we'd both be dead.
If true, this would be a big step but it depends on how complete the implementation will be. Will it support security policies? Will it sync contacts and calendar in addition to email? If so, they may have figured out how to get me to drop my Treo.
I like the fact that you can resize text-entry boxes by dragging the corner.
I picked one of these up for $9.99 at the local Walgreens. It was targeted at the Elderly-With-Poor-Vision market and was right next to similarly-oversized calculators.
I was more curious about why the list of Weblogs, Inc. sites on the right has reverted to the old "HD Beat" name instead of "Engadget HD".
Hogan's Heroes!

(I just wish we got HDNet on Comcast)
I have Comcast cable in Golden Valley, MN and I did the comparison last night between INHD and ESPN-HD for the Yankees/ChiSox game. INHD was much better. The difference was substantial. I couldn't believe the artifacts on the ESPN feed. Almost unwatchable.
After moving from Time Warner to Comcast territory, I really miss HDNet and HDNet movies.

I also hate the fact that they dumped Universal HD as soon as the Olympics were over and I get frustrated when they interrupt INHD2 programming in order to show FSN-HD events.
How Orwellian can you get?

Take a look at the slide that says, "One user interface, One identity, One friends list, One message center, One marketplace".

Remind you of anything? How about:

"We are one people. With one will, one resolve, one cause. Our enemies shall talk themselves to death and we will bury them with their own confusion. We shall prevail!"
The instructions in their current form do not work. This has been hashed out in the OSx86 Project forums. It's been attempted and it didn't work.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
