On the schedule section of HBO's site, the premiere of Entourage has a "True HDTV" designation. So I guess it's confirmed.
Careful. Using apps like Monolingual will prevent certain Adobe CS2 apps (like Illustrator and Acrobat) from being updated.
It was a little weird, actually, because the episode right before it wasn't in HD. Also, why move the show into HD on the last episode of the season? Seems strange. But whatever. They did it, and hopefully season 6 will be all HD.
Though limited, BRICK opens on Friday (3/31), not April 7th.
Please. There is no application called "Mail.app". If you're going to call Mail "Mail.app" then you might as well call them NetNewsWire.app, Yojimbo.app, and Ecto.app.
You couldn't pay me to use the GIMP even if they did make it aqua-native. And assuming someone did pay me to use it, what about alternatives to Illustrator? Or Acrobat? And what about Flash and After Effects, while we're at it?

I think most graphics professionals (like yours truly) aren't in any hurry to get an Intel-based Mac and will happily wait for the Universal versions of major Adobe, Macromedia, and Microsoft apps before considering a new hardware purchase.
Bubble is also on at 9 p.m. EST, not just at 11.
Two other crappy movies that look amazing in HD: the Scooby Doo films. Bold colors, almost no visible grain; really beautiful presentations for two awful films.
It looks like, technically, only three episodes are airing Feb 10: "Fakin' It", "Family Ties", and a one-hour [season?] finale called "Exit Strategy".
