Ben, that was your most rambling, least comprehensible post ever.
It's obvious why they haven't announced it. When Blu-ray can do PIP, they'll get The Matrix (and Batman Begins, and V For Vendetta, etc.)
"With Warner cancelling/delaying all their HD DVD releases"

Another instance of a Blu-ray supporter taking the BDA's lead and blatantly making things up in order to make Blu seem better. The facts alone can't do it, so let's just LIE!

The fact is, Warner has not delayed or canceled any HD DVD title without delaying or canceling its Blu-ray counterpart.

Maybe the Blu boys are just worried Warner has already confirmed its participation at the HD DVD press conference at CES next month.
So then why is the CEO of Sony saying all Blu-ray has going for it right now is "momentum"?

He knows something we don't. Something is brewing.
Shhh, Truth Teller!! Stop reminding Blu-ray only-folks they're paying more for less!!

Julian, your inconherent, rambling, inaccurate posts do more harm than good when it comes to advocating Blu-ray. Just letting you know.
Wish the specs had told us whether that "piano black finish" makes the player compatible with BD-J and the final BD profile specs. My guess is no.
OMG. You mean to tell me there was MONEY behind Paramount's decision????

HOW CAN THIS BE??? HOW?????

First I find out there's no Santa Claus, and now this. I thought Hollywood studios did what they did because they loved MOVIES.

How much are these suckers? I'm about to bite on the Onkyo 805 which has similar specs for a very nice price, but would like to consider these as well, as long as they are within my measly budget.
Blu-ray = format for rich people.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
