Anybody knows how to make bitstream work? I changed the setting from PCM to bitstream but the receiver still picks up PCM and not raw bitstream. Do I have to restart PS3 for settings to take effect?
Can somebody tell me if it is possible to find out which Redbox has blu-ray in your area. Does it say on the machine? Or is in under the title of a specific movie?
South Park on blu-ray!!! Great.
Hope to win. The prices of BD movies have kept me away from buying movies for quite a long time now but I would love to watch some newly released movies on BD.
Great, but I wonder what countries care about American football at all?
I hope they will be smart enough to release replacements.
For people who make over 100G/year I guess. Or for big big enthusiasts.
"Sony Level II tech support were unable to tell the hdmi version and confirmed that the BD-PS300 only supports TrueHD and DTS-HD by sending the 5.1 core and does not decode it" Who needs that crap?
Their review says it has HDMI 1.3 and supports all newer codecs. I thought it didn't
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
