This would make an awesome gift for the wife. The old dell is falling apart and this new sexy HP would definitely go well while she searches to get a full time position.
Woo, this beast would definitely cure some of my recession woes!
I have the 50" version of this set and I must say it out paces any other set I have seen. I am not sure why the Samsung scored higher but the Panasonic is an absolutely beautiful set, very happy with it.

Watching Serenity, on DVD, the star fields were deep and the thousands of pinpoints of star lights was just amazing. The ion storm fight scene was full of color and just floored me.

Actually the 85U series does not have 48HZ playback. I have a TH-50PZ85U and can confirm this is not included on the set. However, the picture is beautiful and I love it.

What a fun gadget, maybe you could send on my way!
I've never played Halo or an XBox, this combo would rock!
I'd love to get my hands on that 4GB Sansa Connect!
I would love to get that media player.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
