If Comcast has so much freaking bandwidth maybe they should stop putting the screws on their HD signals. Maybe they will try to charge for uncompressed TV by calling it a premium service and ask $150/month for it.
Works good, I used to have a Phillips Pronto and that worked OK but required some programming skill to get it working. My main gripes about the 880 are 1st: the weak IR LEDs, the pronto wins hand down on this. 2nd the charging contacts get dirty preventing easy placement of the remote on the base. 3rd the blue LED on the charging base is plain stupid.
These things are annoyances at most, basically the thing works well as advertised.
Favorite network is PBS HD. The World Trade Center History documentary was simply stunning.

"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
