Looking forward to the web surfing, and the youtube integration.
Yeah because so many average Joes are going to plunk down $1200.00 for a dvd player. Word of mouth from something like this might as well be non existent.
So now we have what 5 or 6 channels of HD content LOL. Their hd lineup is weak.
My last comment obviously pertains to those of you with built in tuners
Guys go to http://www.antennaweb.org/aw/welcome.aspx type in your address and follow the recommended antenna type. I got one for twenty bucks and it also allows you to get ABC HD also not available on charter. Ridiculous.
Are you guys sitting right next to the thing or what? I never hear it, but I sit probably 10-15 feet away from it. I guess if you were in a small room or something it may be a problem, but I have never even noticed it.
Long Ago? The company is Ronco and they still peddle their wares LOL.
I hope I win ;o)
It's just a start. This is the real future of content, but it's going to mature like any other medium. I have been using netflix for a couple years and it's great. Like anyone else I occasionally forget to update the queue or get the movies back in time. This medium will eventually make all this sending and waiting irrelevant. Truly never having to leave the home. Just get the fiber to the house LOL.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
