Woo perfect timing, I need a new 360 that has HDMI to get 1080p to my new TV (it won't accept 1080p over component).
This is exactly what I need. I already have a hard drive, headset everything. I just need the HDMI.

I modded my orginal xbox and got banned from xbox live, so I don't think I'm going to be trying that with my 360 this time around :)

No wonder I pwn on xbox live so bad.
Well it says "The files will be stored on the hard drive encrypted" so unless Vista has really changed the file system you will be able to copy these files wherever you want, but they will be encrypted and I would assume therefore useless (until someone breaks the encryption).
If they reject my players key so I can't watch any new movies I'm gonna freakin sue their ass!
My comments got cut off :( anyway, when someone releases something that plays both Blu-ray and HD DVD for < $200 I'll buy that because there are some movies I want to watch that are Blu-ray only.
I agree with Big Sam, I think HD DVD, Blu-Ray and online distro are all going to own market share. With online distro being the smallest of the 3. I have the Xbox 360 HD DVD player combined with Netflix to get all the HD DVD's I want. And I think the picture quality combined with the new cool menus was worth the $200 for the player.
