I'd like to see a chipset comparison for video upscalers along with what make/model they are available in.

Does anyone know of a good and current review of video upscalers? I wonder how many of the above mentioned AVRs have the same chip.
The ability to natively support PDF books with chapters, pictures and page sizing to fit the screen.
How about a link to info on the deal?
How is that a point of pride? I've met people who are proud of avoiding Star Wars and I don't understand what it is people feel pride about. Is this your non-conformist moment or something?

If works for you it works. *shrug*
Add me in please.
The G owner forums have a lot of complaints on them. According to the members the kinks had not been worked out the last time I read.
I have both formats via a PS3 and an XBOX360. Playing games on both made it convenient, but now that I have the option of both I generally get HD-DVD whenever available and Blu-ray discs as a second choice. When I have compared the same title in both formats in the past HD-DVD was better (both audio and video) or I couldn't see a difference.

I don't check anymore, I just prioritize on Netflix. A lot of people get up in arms about which format is better, but at this time with all of the exclusive content on each format I intend to ride both because regardless of what we think the format war will likely not be decided based on quality. Content deals come and go.

Argue away about which is better, in the end we have seen that it's not the determining factor as to which format wins.
Sharp has had 1080p 37s for a long time. They've been great for a long time, having a feature called Dot to Dot which places all 1920 x 1080 pixels on screen in a pixel per pixel mode which works very well to eliminate overscan issues found in most displays not specifically intended for a PC.
If you want to bring people over to the format you could also release early. For example, how many hardcore fans would be tempted to get an HD DVD drive for their XBOX 360 if Battlestar Galactica came out on HD DVD 6 weeks earlier while DVD owners had to wait. The numbers may not be huge, but you now have another person invested in your format.
Can someone please clarify a couple of things? This article speaks of this guy as though he is doing something unique even now. At the same time this article seems to say that this is a production line vehicle which would just make him another driver who happened to be the one to drive a car off of the lot 1100 miles.

Is this a production line vehicle? What availability does it have if so? Aussie only?

"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
