With Snow Leopard, you want to uninstall your HP drivers and software and use the drivers and software that are provided with Snow Leopard. Even for scanners and networked devices. These are more robust than anything that was provided for earlier versions of OS X.
Rule 1: Make a bootable backup (clone) before any major system updates.
Rule 2: Download the full installer, especially if you're going to update more than one Mac.

ARM will be used for new chips for iPhone and iPod models. Hell will freeze over before we see a netbook or tablet. Margins on netbooks are too small, while tablets are a niche market.
