I don't have cable. Mine main source for TV is Apple TV. And it does the job well. I don't have tivo. I use free OTA signal, so I download what I want to watch save it to my USB attached 750GB EXT HD and watch at my leisure. I use the onboard 40GB for my iTunes subscriptions and stream my video podcasts. Boxee is in alpha and for an alpha product it is good. I can get Hulu and more with no problem. I have it all tied together with aTV Flash another plus. So I have a 790GB little media machine. And I can add any size EXT HD as needed. SET. CLICK. WATCH...BAM!

"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
