Good point. However, FED was on display at FPD 2007 in Japan. Fairly exclusive photos at my blog including FED display at 240 fps!!. SED? Still in hibernation or whatever you'd call it.

Canon had better renegotiate fast if it expects to ship anything this year.

There are rumours from Australian sources that Samsung is also interested in pursuing SED TV technology, a variant of FED TV technology.
This whole story is amazing. From good to bad then
good again then worse in only two weeks. Will this thing ever get off the ground?

Not happy. Not happy at all. I was really looking forward to seeing it in person.

I can also see plasma prices, especially for larger sets dropping when SED is more widely available in 2008-2009.

All manufacturers may see slimmer margins once SED is out. Toshiba and Canon have a large investment to recoup also.

SED TV Reviews

We'll all be amazed at the quality of the Toshiba/Canon designed SED display when it becomes available to the general public in 2008. Will I buy one then though? Probably not.

I can't think that Youtube can survive. The monetization required to pay for the bandwith is one factor, but definitely the biggest problem could be the copyright issues they are facing.
Disappointing. With such a lack of news lately a bit of good PR on blogs and in the news couldn't hurt at all. Hoping to see it at CES 2007.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
