I'd settle for being able to SUBSCRIBE to Netflix in Canada... SIGH! Our options up here just aren't the same.
You *never* sacrifice function for aesthetics? I dunno about that one.

Having said that, I'm guessing the *real* answer to this question was "We did the market research. Not that many people care about expandable storage, so we didn't bothing trying to find a place to squeeze it in" - but that doesn't sound as goofy and new-agey.
Just as a quick point - the reason it's not easy to install OSX on a PC is because Apple won't let you. Microsoft is perfectly happy to let people install Windows on a Mac because they're not a hardware vendor - they don't lose any money if Windows is installed on a Mac. Whereas Apple loses out on a LOT of money (those premium-priced machines that they sell) if you install their OS on somebody else's hardware.

Having said that, I'm looking forward to picking up my first Mac (an entry level Macbook) sometime soon... And this is coming from a longtime PC user, coming up on 20 years or so now!
PSST... Hey Microsoft! Maybe take a look at trimming the fat on the Vista team, as opposed to a team that is actually creating a GOOD product.
I've got a few friends who purchased 360s specifically for Rock Band/Guitar Hero, and those are the only games they own/play. I'd definitely consider them casual gamers, and they download TONS of songs.

Having said that - Dear Microsoft, PLEASE deliver something like the Netflix service to Canada!!! I'm so sad that we don't have it! :(
Ironically, I get a "Server too busy" error message trying to view that. Lol!
I bet if you rename those 6k .iso files to .html files, they'll show you an MS error page saying "not found" or similar. :)
Weird. I was attempting to reply to Rob and ended up on Monksy's as well. Windows 7 site bloat now affecting Engadget? :)
Funny, I've spent exactly *zero* dollars to keep my windows machine virus and spyware free. But hey, whatever helps you sleep at night.
Oh yeah, and still nothing. So much for 3pm PST! Grrr.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
