I'm glad that they're gonna fix it so 720p games are upconverted, but I'm a little ticked at Sony for saying that my 46-inch SONY CRT RPTV which is barely 3 years old and cost me about $1,600 is antiquated because it supports 1080i and not 720p. It works just swell with the Xbox 360 and Wii I bought within the past two weeks, and I don't plan to upgrade for at least another couple of years. I think I'll pass on the PS3 for now, till the kinks are worked out and maybe the price drops $100 or so (since I believe I also have to factor in the cost for an HDMI-to-DVI cable).
Well that definitely blows. I have a 3-year-old Sony RPTV that does 1080i but not 720p. It cost no small sum, so I hope Sony addresses this matter and allows for upscaling.
Halo 3 (and if I win the bundle it'll be a Christmas gift for my girlfriend).

"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
