I had my MagSafe power adapter replaced about a week ago. The old one was frayed and sparking and Apple promptly replaced it for me. Unfortunately, the adapter light stayed on all the time and it would show "Not Charging" in the menu bar. Then it just quit working.

Thinking, "no big deal" I went down to the Apple Store to have it replaced since it was obviously defective. The "Genius" took a look and said it had prolonged water damage and refused to replace it even though I had only had the adapter for a week. It has been nowhere but my bedroom and completely away from moisture. They suggested I buy a new one at full price...I promptly left the store.

I just got my confirmation text a few minutes ago. This thing is pretty sweet. I'll probably use it most for the IM-Text replacement since I don't have a texting plan.

I really want to give this a try but it won't send the confirmation
text message for me to setup my account. Anyone else have this
problem?
