@mnotme Have you personally owed a Pre? I have. At time, it was not even able to run a single application without requiring a reboot, which takes almost 5 minutes. Those demos you see of the pre "running" 50 apps is when it was freshly booted and nothing is in the memory. Try doing that after a couple hours of use.

@r3loaded Yeah. I'm not sure why, maybe it was just Dell's screwed up ordering system. It would not let you select both Firewire and USB 2.0.

Dang, I just upgraded my parents computer to USB 2.0. When we got it back in 2003, Dell only gave us a choice between firewire and USB 1.0, you could not have both firewire and USB 2.0 at the same time. I chose wrong.

"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
