that was quite a read.
these look weird but probably sound wonderful.
that would be nice for my laptop
I've heard the TV service wasn't all it's cracked up to be. How the HD was overly compressed and how it wasn't until recently that they rolled out the ability to watch multiple HD channels simultaneously (within the premises).

Not really an issue to me since I only ordered the internet (which I've heard most people are satisfied with). It's the TV and Voice service that seems to get a lot of the complaints. That along with installation problems.
I guess this explains why they offered me such a sweet deal when I called to inquire about Uverse earlier this week. They must be afraid of FIOS and Docsis 3.0 and just want to amass subscribers. Uverse had been available to me since early last year but I didn't bother with it since they wouldn't allow me to get the service without the TV service attached (I only wanted the quasi-fiber internet). They offered me the service with only the internet (10mb/1.5mb) and waived the installation fee plus they offered the same monthly rate that I'm currently paying for their 1.5mb/384k DSL. I couldn't resist so I signed up. Something to hold me over till FIOS moves in. The only other option was Time Warner which would have been 2x more expensive for comparable speeds and the caps/tier news lately doesn't put them in a good light.

There really needs to be a lot more competition in the broadband space. This 1 to 2 choice per market is why the US isn't number 1 when it comes to speeds.

"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
