Burn it and piss on the ashes in my opinion.
Hallelujah!

This is a blessing like no other. Theisman was horrible. If only we can get ESPN to get rid of Joe Morgan and Jon "I'm obsessed with steroid Bonds" Miller off of Sunday Night Baseball..... the world would make sense again!
Well, I've had DirecTV HD Locals since this summer and: Oh, what a headache it's been! For one, I had to get a new dish (3rd one in 4 years) and a new receiver (HR20- becaus my RCA one wasn't mpeg-4 compatible). Well, no more than a month goes by and my receiver goes out! Not to mention the fact that I don't receive FOX in HD from my locals. Apparently they don't offer their HD local channel through DirectTV. This and the fact that my ABC HD local won't give me Dolby Digital sound (like NBC and CBS do). I know for a fact that my ABC HD local channel broadcasts in Dolby because I can pick it up through my antenna. I am not able to pick up my local FOX HD through the antenna without constant "glitching" and the channel going off air. I've gone through 4 different HD antennas and none have been able to pick up FOX HD consistently. I have petitioned numerous times for channel 89 (FOX HD- Los Angeles), but keep getting my waiver denied by my local affiliate. I am fed up with DirecTV and their inferior software and hardware issues. Ever since they got rid of Hughes boxes, it has been a downhill ride. I refuse to buy an HD DVR from DirecTV because I want Tivo back! I've had my Hughes SD Tivo box for 3 years and love it. I just wish they would still sell the HR10-250 models! There are a lot of "kinks" to be worked out still from DirecTV and until then, it'll only get worse.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
