If you go to IRS.GOV you will find that you are STILL paying the same TAX RATE this year as last year. However, the "TAX CUT" you claim to see is really only the government adjusting your withholding's. You are still paying the SAME tax rate. You will have to account for your "TAX CUT" on your taxes when you file them next year. If you got a check back from the IRS for 1000 dollars, expect to get whatever you've been getting added to your paycheck this year deducted from that 1000 dollars. Same thing happened this year with the stimulus from last year. You had to account for it on your taxes this year and it was deducted from whatever return you had coming back to you.

Obama giving a speech is NOT want I want to hear. I know his plan already. I've read what I've seen so far on the budget. Now, if you make it a question and answer period, now we're talking. Campaign commercials I can do without. Talking about the nuts and bolts of the economy and his budget plan is when the people are served better. Face the Nation, Chris Wallace, etc, etc. He can show up there on Sunday's and make all the news circuits. Here's some questions that Obama should answer.
1. Why does Geitner still have a job? You said that he would unveil a detailed fix for the toxic assets on 10 Feb. It is now Mar and still no plan. Time says April. How can you say he is doing a great job and get no plan YET???
2. Related to question 1. Why haven't you filled the remaining Treasury positions that you are required to name?
3. What is your stance on the Constitutionality of what the House voted on raising taxes 90% on bonuses of TARP receiving companies?
I can dream someday the press will show up and ask real questions but I guess will have to see what 60 minutes comes up with (not good based on early reports).

Actually Bosco, Obama EFFECTIVELY DID NOT lift the ban because the ban went back into effect when he signed the Omnibus bill a few days later. I guess our elected officials did not read the bill in full and it was missed. Another oops to add to the long and growing list of oops'.

Being a P-3 pilot, that was just horrible the scene with the Navy pilots!! There are no P-3's stationed or detached to Los Angeles (unless you count Point Magu). Naval Aviator's are NOT allowed to wear flight suits off base unless it is to go straight home. Their name tags were like nothing we wear (where were the pilot wings??). Just horrible but nice to hear P-3's mentioned!!

Still waiting on Spike HD. Only way to see Star Wars in HD! Weather CH HD would be awesome as well.
