My favorite scene in 300 is where Xerxes comes in. He is awesome!
I've got a quick grammar question.

Isn't it correct to use 'an' before HDTV? A HDTV just sounds really weird to me. I think its probably because some pronounce H as 'aytch', where as others pronounce it as 'haytch'? Technically, the use of "an" before something that starts with H is grammatically correct. You don't say "the word starts with a H" you say "it starts with _an_ H". My understanding is that "an" is to be used before words to connect with a vowel sound, not just a vowel itself. Its awkward to say two vowel sounds in a row because you have to stop the stream of air completely to make the distinction.
Did you not read this story? The cost to deploy all new cable card ready cable boxes by the deadline would kill the smaller cable company and only necessitate their (the small cable companies) sale to the "mega corp." Comcast. Is that what you want? Or how about the cost for Comcast. Do you not think that the cost of the new equipment might raise our already ridiculous cable rates?!? I am with Comcast on this one. As should be any rate conscious consumer. I for one do not wish to pay for the "future" as governed by the FCC.
Thought you were let down by the loss of INHD2...?The truth is that both stations 1 & 2 are just temporary filler HD content since most network stations were lagging behind in that and still are. Yes I said temporary. As early as November in the Seattle market INHD will be replaced by FSN HD. Good news for the sprots fans around but for those of us who just want 100% HD when we tune in get ready to be let down again by HD.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
