I believe when it was first released in April 07, it was selling for $79 ($69 for transmit owners). I don't believe it ever sold for under $50.
Yeah, no offense, but this post is full of grammar errors
I strongly agree. An application-based interface rather than a web-based interface is the way to go. Just look at other examples such as the iTunes Store or Xbox Live Marketplace. Browsing those stores feel like you're browsing an extension of the device. The problem with a web-based playstation store is the feeling that the store isn't connected to the rest of the console.. I feel like I'm entering a twilight zone of sorts when I enter the PSN store.

Sony needs to realize that consistency is the key, and they've done a great job with consistency on the PS3 for the most part. However, even with this new store update, I don't feel like Sony understands how to make a console-based store. This is probably why I rarely buy games off of PSN.
Try TimeMachineEditor. It seems to work fine for me after the update.
I have been happily using Time Machine to back up to a SMB mount for several months now. You just need to get "iTimeMachine".

This setup has been working great. Backups and restores occur without a hitch.

You can actually get it for $123.99 with free 3 day shipping at ChiefValue.com (Newegg-owned).

Yeah, support from all the studios. Microsoft only has a couple studios on board, I believe.
I have been using Connect360 from NullRiver for a long time. It's a great app, and NullRiver is quick to update the product when necessary.

I would like to get MediaLink for my PS3, but I'm wondering if Nullriver has any plans to give a Medialink discount for Connect360 owners.
Yes, I was hoping the next generation of Harmony mice had built in bluetooth to control my PS3, so I was disappointed to hear that the Harmony One doesn't have bluetooth. I'll just have to stick with my Harmony 520 for a bit longer.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
