I've had this phone since last wee,. when you were able to order it via *611. I like it very much and most people who have it already are surprised how small it is. Its nice but as far as I can tell youtube videos do not play on the phone. So the full HTML browser is a bit of an over statement. Head on over to Howard Forums and read through everyones posts to get some opinions from people who have had the phone for a week now.
Was able to order the glyde this afternoon via *611. Total cost will be $149 with NE2 discount and $50 mail in rebate. Free 2 day shipping via fedex
Was nice that we finally got some new HD Content to bad the channels suck. Can't wait till verizon finishes the Fios TV backend this spring then its bye bye TWC for good.
I would say your best alternative for a home phone based service/equipment voip would be Packet8. They seem to have been around much longer then anyone else and offer similar equipment and service plans that vonage does.
And the solutions I provided are not just limited to video/music playback. There are technologies out there that far exceed the limitations that an MCE extender provides. These solutions are also not DIVX/Xvid only. Your difference is the UI. I prefer full control over my personal media and not be limited to certain file formats. I use two 360's but am keen on the fact that the Tomacro limHD200i is a solution that I find is better
Um why would you need a media center extender when you have products like Tomacro limHD200i and the Tvix M-4100SH and M5100SH that you can use for HD files and many others.
I would love to be considered for one of these. You guys rock
Ben you are incorrect as the DVI does accept an analog 1080p connection. I also frequent the AVS forums and even within that thread you quoted are pics with guys using there PC's and sending a 1080p signal via the DVI port. Don't spread misinformation the Sharps are a great display and deserve to have the full 1080p vga signal from the 360
Why do you guys keep failing to mention that the Sharp's also are showing the VGA problem. The 37D90U in particular. Microsoft please include the sharp's in your fix.
Many Many HDTV's are not accepting the 1080p rez via the VGA. I hope MS fixes this soon. Just read avsforums.com many people are showing documented issues with the update.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
