I also have never had any success in getting this to work. I was using a crappy old Belkin router and now I'm using a slightly less crappy Linksys/Cisco router at home that I'm eager to try this out with.

Unfortunately, I'm down to a one-mac household at the moment so the experiment will have to wait til I find a new roommate ... that being said if anyone knows someone looking for a place in Astoria New York that wouldn't mind living in an A/V-centric house with loads of cool gear all over the place tell them to hit me up!
BRILLIANT IDEA!

I wish someone could make that happen!
Without question I'd have to go with Cro-Mag Rally!

::crosses fingers::
A quick count in my "junk drawer" (I'm too disorganized to keep a proper rolodex and generally when I get a card I just input the information in to my phone) shows about 80 cards, but every so often they get cleared out and I start from square one!

Pick me, pick me!
First thing I checked for (and have been missing!) is that Genius has been enabled on the Remote app for iPhone/touch ... and it does! Excellent!
Damn ... no genius for Apple TV. I'm guessing that will come with a software update? I'm actually getting quite used to setting a genius playlist during my morning commute and I really wish it'd be integrated into all my products already!
Jeez I just need a printer. Hook me up Engadget! plzkthx!
How useful it is
to have some remote access
to all my great filez
This just sucks ... when I try to connect to ANY messaging service it just says "Cannot connect to Mobile Chat"

It's a shame, but I partly blame Apple for not really letting developers know EXACTLY when their apps are going to go live, and I partly blame the developers here for not being prepared for when the app actually did go live. I really feel like a sucker for having spent my $2.99 the instant this app was available. There's a disclaimer when you open the app that things wont work perfectly for the first 2 days, but to open the app you have to have already purchased it. Kinda silly if you ask me.
How is a software update an EPIC FAIL?

That doesn't make much sense now, does it?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
