I played through Sonic's Ultimate Game Collection and if you didn't grow up playing these games, you probably won't like them today. Most games outside of the Sonic's play terribly. I was a SNES child growing up so I have rather fond memories of Mario/Metroid/DKC/Zelda. That definitely makes me biased in the matter but I really couldn't find one game that I really enjoyed out of the whole collection. Ecco was cool but too big a game for me to dive into. Vectorman plays well but it seemed stale in comparison to a game like Donkey Kong Country.

Still having said that, if you grew up with these games and find enjoyment in them you should pick up Sonic's UGC. I think it sells for around $30 and it really has the best Genesis has to offer.
Gears of War 2: That's Not a Brumak, That's My Mom!
Is this the last time your gunna tell me or will someone remind me in 2009?
I don't mind the ads, but I don't like that the icon picture is from the brand and not from the game.
Go iPhone!
I would never play a game like Manhunt anyway but it does worry me that Sony and Nintendo won't allow AO games onto their systems. In the case of Manhunt it's a crazy amount of violence. But what about future games that may have more serious messages, like drug abuse or rape. Those things will never make it into a game for fear of the game being AO and not getting released.

I think in order to prove the game industry has evolved we need games like this to be released. I don't think this should be sold at your local Walmart but it should be in specialty places for the consumers that want to buy it. All this political goodness of "protecting us" from violent media is only going to limit the game industries growth potential.
It's nice to see Sega taking their brand seriously and letting good developers touch it but I still miss the good old days when Sega made great games on their own.

Long live the Dreamcast.
I know were gunna see Banjo 3, I feel like we might get Crimson Skies 2, and I still pray to God that theres a Shenmue 3.
Only the game industry announces announcements. Basically all he said was that we're making a game to be released at some point in time. I'm excited over the fact that I will be excited in four to six months. How exciting!
Dave Matthews Band. Probably some Weezer too.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
