My original DTVPal was so buggy and unreliable (and the customer support so poor) that I didn't risk getting the DVR version. Too bad, because it had promise...

All in all, I am happy to see automakers start to trim down vehicle weight. Modern cars, although comfortable and extremely safe, have grown to outrageous mass. In turn, we need silly engines to match. Hopefully this will be a mass shift in the industry.

The '84 P'up was (is) a great off-road vehicle. You could set it in low range, 1st gear, and it would crawl over about anything its skid plates could clear. The truck had a great cargo capacity too. It is a shame they lost their soul and became a GM re-badge. Outside of some rust and general ugliness, this little truck is still on the road.
I believe consumers will (again) pay for a premium roadster with a 4-cyl., like the original Z3 1.9.

"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
