My biggest issue with the last movie was that it reduced Indiana Jones to a spectator for the final act. Fix that next time around, and I am down.
I didn't think that I had been following this movie all that closely, but I could've sworn that The Doctor and Cobra Commander were two entirely different characters.
Wow. Four choices and the studio isn't one of them. Clearly they are the most at fault here from targeting a PG-13 rating to skimping on directorial talent and everywhere in between.
I saw Night at the Museum 2 with the family, which was the very definition of mediocrity Amy Adams aside, and I saw X-Men Origins: Wolverine with my son because we had two free tickets via MovieCash. The later wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Ah, the power of low expectations.
If I had to speculate as to one reason why Watchmen's box office take was disappointing in its second week, I would probably point to word of mouth. Warner Bros. ad campaign let people infer an awful lot about the nature of this movie. I bet many uninformed moviegoers went in expecting your typical comic book movie, left disappointed, and made sure all their friends knew about it.
I'd like to see you foreclose my house now!
Posturing for more dollars undoubtedly...
This movie and Wolverine looks absolutely terrible. The only difference I see is that Fox is doing a much better job of hiding it than Paramount.
I have to agree that the implication has been there all along...

MARION: I was a child!

MARION: It was wrong and you knew it.
I swear to God, New Coke was marketed better than this movie!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
