Just in case you don't know, Pioneer is owned by Panasonic. They are the same basic display with different processors. Of course the Pioneer processor is much better.

So, if the FCC is opening this up to retail set top box manufacturers, what's the hold up on PCI tuners with CableCARD? Also, does this mean they are going to do the same thing with DBS providers?

This is totally about offering an elite product. I know three people that have already ordered this Platinum package. And one of them is still keeping his Dish Network and Digital Cable services in addition. Some people simply must have everything.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.

"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
