Definitely to block out the spouse.
Going to the convenience store to pick up eggnog and blowing all the money my parents gave me on the two arcade cabinets they had there. Street Fighter 2 and Sunset Riders.

I was in trouble, but it was worth it.
Yeah, it also doesn't work for Canadians. Damnit Netflix, HOOK US UP!
What's brown and sticky?

A stick!
I buy most of my game stuff at Best Buy and EB. But I'm cutting EB from now on.
Last time I checked, Telus has no HD service. At least not in Calgary. In fact, when Telus called me to sell me it and I said no because they had no HD, they didn't even argue. Shortest sales call I've ever had.
I also have a Shaw HDPVR, and combine the crappy shaw signal with this janky box with no sense of usability is just barely tolerable. I find the PVR box sends really loud speaker pops probably a couple times an hour. Sometimes more, sometimes less. Any thing with quick motion on screen has compression artifacts, as does slower dark scenes. When I go to my buddy's place who has Bell ExpressVu (which also has more channels and better hardware), the visual difference is stunning.
Funniest and most clever speech bubble ever.
I don't get it either. At E3 in 2007 they said the videos would be available this fall. Well we have the dashboard update now and no videos. It's killing me too.
Thank the heavens I haven't dedicated myself to finding the flags in Assassin's Creed yet. Knowing now that you get the satisfaction of having pointless flags, I'm not even going to bother getting them unless I happen to just walk into one. Also, the parallel story is stupid. The only reason it could even be considered a spoiler is because Ubisoft clearly never hinted at it knowing that it was a stupid idea and nobody wants to play that.

However, I love the game.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
