huh! iu was just b*tching to the wife about how you cant stream videos and assumed they never would do so, so thats a pleasant surprise. Now about my netflix account....
I have a question: i assume all upconverters are not created equal; how good an upconverter is the PS3 considered? I have one, and most rentals are still DVDs, so I am curious if what is see is fairly indicative of what to expect from an upconverter. thanks for any feedback
ridiculous! of course it would be a selling point. if you are a netflix customer who is ready to buy bluray, this would really make the PS3 the top choice. why does sony really need to DO anything to make this happen? how hard could it be? now i have to pay $30 for a half baked solution to PlayOn for something that any computer (which the PS3 is) can do? lets pound doors!
criterion finally on blue ray? awesome. hope netflix picks some up soon....ust wish netflix would tell you which movie versions they have (especially if there is a criterion and a non-criterion version out there)
can you expand on "do not suggest PlayOn - it fills a niche, yes, but the XMB interface is just a bear..."?? i just downloaded play on and had a good experience watching a miami vice epsiode over netflix (is there such a thing as a bad experience watching miami vice??)...so i was thinking about paying for the full version. i really REALLY want a netflix to PS3 solution NOW! (but, preferably free)
well, if all you did was translate the pound cost into dollars using an exchange rate (as opposed to it being actually available in the US for $2980), then it would, indeed, feel cheaper in pounds to someone who earns income in pounds.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
