Would be awesome if the proc worked on ranged attacks too, but without that any guild would be insane to give it to a hunter. Also who knows if it has agi or str on it.
I had almost forgotten. Ordered back in august or whenever it came out, and I believe they charged for the year right away.

Good bathroom reading material is hard to come by!

Kinda secretly hoping they give some kind of in-game vanity item to subscribers too.
Yeah emblems are the sole funding of my raiding. I get 60+ triumph emblems a week just raiding (not even doing dailies) which is 4 crusader orbs, and at 650-800g a pop that's around 3k a week without any effort or having to do dailies or play the AH.

I hope they phase out arena. Hopefully rated BGs are a first step to that. It's quite obvious that the amount of people who play the game for only arenas is incredibly small. Even if every arena player quit, it wouldn't be more than a minor blip on their radar and the end result would be improving the rest of the game that 98% of the people play.

World PVP and Battlegrounds are great. Before arenas, they almost never ever interfered with PVE class balance. They are done in large groups typically which all but eliminates class balance issues. Arena's have so few players in them in a tight, controlled environment that makes any balance issues stand out like a sore thumb. Then the classes are trapped in a neverending buff-nerf-buff-nerf-buff-nerf rotation as people find new comps that dominate.

Playing some of the classes is like being on a rollercoaster. They just can't make up their minds what they want to do with them and it's all because of arena.
Is there any level 80 stuff I can buy similar to this stuff from level 70? http://www.wowhead.com/?item=34780 Basically mage food that restores mana and health but isn't conjured
The change does nothing really to help BM PvE dps. 8 seconds less of your pet doing crazy damage about balances out with 10% to hunter-only damage at all times.

BM is still 1,000+ dps below MM/Survival for a ToC25/Ulduar25 geared hunter, and that's under ideal circumstances. It's pitiful really. It doesn't help that hunter pets seem to get instagibbed a lot easier on some hard modes, immediately leaving the hunter with 45-50% of his dps gone. If even I as a MM hunter stop dropping on the meters in the middle of a fight when my pet dies (which only does about 10-12% of my damage), you can imagine what happens to poor BM hunters when their pet instagibs in a situation completely out of their control. Not to mention I am pretty sure that boss encounters are not balanced around having the healers having to also heal pets. Pet's have to rely on bloodthirsty and judgement of light to get any heals and sometimes it's just not enough.

I needn't mention BM's disadvantage on gimmick fights like Hodir and Twin Valkyrs. The pet doesn't share the buffs the hunter gets.
Oh, more WoW hate on Massively...this is a surprise.

Ulduar is one of the best dungeons or raids I've done in any game. And stop focusing on the argent tournament dailies. 3.2 is adding a lot more than that obviously including 25 man content. Hardly anyone is through Ulduar yet, let alone the hard modes of every boss.
@Netherscourge:

You're joking right? The fights in Ulduar are not boring at all. I find them pretty fun and exciting.

Ulduar itself is fantastic but the author here is right...the rest of the world is oblivious to this. It feels nothing like the big events before Ahn'Qiraj (sp?) and Sunwell.

I am hoping very much Blizzard pulls out all the stops for when Icecrown Citadel is released with world events leading up to it like AQ and Sunwell.
Asus is killing the netbook that they created back with the original EeePC. Now this is just an underpowered, overpriced laptop.

I hope other netbook manufacturers don't feel obligated to follow. Please don't kill the netbook.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
