Actually Comedy Central has more journalistic integrity.
What time does shovin' buddies start?
They can require it because they are not under an obligation to sell you a replacement part. Thus, as a condition of selling you the new part that Shelby has no obligation to sell you, he requires the old (core) part.

Don't get me wrong, it sucks and Shelby is ripping people off.

The funny thing is that on the forum thread that discussed this originally, apparently Shelby and Ford homers were threatening the forum owner.
What a bunch of car snobs. The Vette interior is not "cheap". Is it the most refined? No, but its nice enough. What do you want, a useless suede dash and door panels. Lambskin flooring? Please, the Z06 is the best sportscar under 100k and the zr1 is the best under 200k without factoring price. Have any of you guys actually driven either? I have.

PS. The person that was blathering on about which one someone would rather drive i.e. A ZR1, what's that. I wouldn't even discuss cars with someone that doesn't know what one is. Taking their opinion on anything automotive is useless. Any knowledge they have about a Lambo is based on what they have seen on TV.
Not true, I drove a Z06 a couple of months ago and the salesman told me to not get into trouble. My dad drove an SS cobalt and a Solstice. He let off at 100 and I shut the Vette down at 130 as I was about to slam 5th. The salesman was more than ok with it.
Maybe suicide doors on the porsche would have looked better.

As I always say, save your cash. 3 seconds? Really. That's like Ferrari celebrating a win over a stock 2009 Corvette, the Z06, or the ZR1. 10k in mods to the Caddy and its no contest even with 4 sets of golf clubs and 4 overnight bags.

I've been considering the M5, M6, the base 2009 Vette, and the Caddy XLR. I know I know, wide range of cars. Cost isn't an issue but value is. I have to say, the vette is almost impossible to beat. Shoot I could get the vette AND the CTS-V for the cost of some of the European performance cars.
You assume I collect GI Joes? You are incorrect. Even if I did, I am not foaming at the mouth about an insignificant piece of entertainment. Don't get me wrong, i like Star Trek, but your devotion to it is silly.

These nerdfestos debating the merits of the new movie and its affect on the Star Trek Universe only goes to reinforce those stereotypes. You know what I'm talking about, sad indeed.
Me thinks many of you need to get out more, and not to a Trek convention.
America's Next Top Model: Who will care?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
