Another all digital AMC theater opened up in Colorado on April 4th. It too has the new Sony 4K projectors. Watching a movie on the new projectors is very similar to the first time I watched HDTV. The first thing I noticed was the text during the opening credits was tack sharp. If you live in the north Denver metro area it's worth a trip to the Orchard 12.

A browser. Microsoft owns the worlds most popular browser, you think they could shoehorn it into the 360 somehow.
I tried it last night and it's very difficult to control with the camera. Maybe I had poor lighting conditions but Totem Ball doesn't seem like a very good showcase for gesture based gaming. Did anybody else have better luck with the controls?
I purchased a used copy of Gun two days ago, tossed it in the 360 and it showed up as a DVD in the dashboard. I tried to play it and I received a message that said "Please insert this dIsc into a xbox 360 to play" The disc looked clean to me but I took it back to the game store and exchanded to for another copy. I stuck the new copy in last night and everything worked perfectly. I wouldn't think that it was related to the update but it looks like other people have run into the same thing. Other than that one clitch the update seems pretty solid.
I like the recaps too. It's great to read about all the things that just happen to float right past me on a first viewing of a show like Lost.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
