Even if this "comment" said what the smoke monster was, I wouldn't read it..... mainly because I am extremely lazy
I think tom's point is that Bob is passing this off as a new development, and it clearly isn't.
terrible idea...

If you watched everything in chronological order, nothing would make any sense!

Maybe if you watched it in the order that the characters experienced everything, but still most of the magic and mystery would be put to the wayside
If the memory of Sayid shooting Ben "suddenly appeared" that would have been an even bigger cop-out, and would have totally broken the rules that the writers put into place which is that "whatever happened, happened".

I have faith that there will be more explaination as to what actually happened to Ben inside the temple, but for now we just have to sit tight. There are a couple huge mysteries that I just have to accept will only be answered towards the end of the series (what is the smoke monster, what the others do the children they abducted (which could be related to young Ben and the temple), who is Jacob, and of course the motivation behind Ben's actions)

Also keep in mind, a point that has been mentioned numerous times, that the rules do not apply for Desmond. Which is why the memory "suddenly appeared" to him (although, I believe that the memory was merely suppressed)

Just my two cents...
"One of TV's most meaningless movie awards -- yes, more meaningless than the Golden Globes, the People's Choice Awards or those technical Oscars they hold at a Holiday Inn conference room and compress into five minutes of TV time -- has a host. "

Are the technical Oscars meaningless, because the only people that deserve to be recognized for their contribution to movies are actors/writers/directors?!?!
I don't see how you can't see Return to Oz as a sequel (nice call)
Tetris
Uh.... no Gandhi?!?! Ben Kingsley won Best Actor for that role!
That would also be a total waste of money on NBC's part to only focus a program on the ~0.001% of the audience that has a 3D set (not an actual figure....)

I'm guessing it it is a combination with Joel's astigmatism and of the technology not being that great.
'I assumed Eden was out of the country because she was the one who shot Julia; not because she was hiding her mother's secret.'

Um I'm pretty sure Eden is lying, in order to avoid any further investigation on who shot Julie (i.e. Eden)

I thought it was shown clear as day in the 'Previously on...' intro.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
