Using Sprint WiMax now and was getting constant 3.0mb/s down with 6.2mb/s up. I think the service blows all 3G out of the water considering the latency is so low. My only complaint is the service is still a bit spotty in the hotels but who am i kidding because every ones service is bad in hotels.
Fix the economy by giving more start up companies tax advantages!!!
I think I would be for Cox's data management policies because I would like my youtube/video and PS3 games to work faster, while I don't mind that most website get a slight delay ( I hope its only ms). Assuming Cox will not play favorites with companies and not block apps like Comcast, then I support the use to speed up time sensitive applications. It would also be a plus if Cox fully explained what ports and apps are going to be affected for transparency.

I already use QoS in my company so important apps get pushed first and my response from people so far has been they really enjoy it. Video conferencing and gotomypc have been stabilized since we applied the new policy.
I think if Cox is going to put new HD in they should do it for the whole valley. Why should I pay the same amount as someone who gets more than I do? If anything Cox should credit people for the difference in lack of HD!

Plus it has taken forever for Cox to add HD in AZ; with the network upgrade not being complete till March of 09', it will be months before Cox can catch up. Not to mention the whole SDV debacle: when will device come out to allow SDV support beyond the Cox issued boxes?
I would have to say office 3.0. That program rocked my world!
I have to say office is the best software in the world. And ever time they come out with a new version it outdoes the last by light years.
Nice! I would use this for Engadget and school!
I agree with everyone so far that Cox AZ has done very little to add more HD channels. And why do they keep on changing their HD quantity 08' goals? I do understand that Cox AZ is in a bandwidth crunch right now but they only have a few options to remedy their problem: Get rid of Analog channels, Use SDV (Switch Digital Video), or get cable boxes that can handle frequencies from 860mhz to 1Ghz. Also with their EON that should help the backbone system but it will still not stop their crunch. I bet Cox will just start using SDV like crazy to help reduce their bandwidth.

Hey does anyone else find it weird that Cox says they do not charge for HD but if you have a clear-QAM tuner you can only get channels 703-715. Everything from 721 to below 780 is all subscription which makes no sense.

Anyways if anyone wants to keep up to date with Cox you should check out this forum: http://www.landlpcservices.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=726&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=135

To bad Cox in Phoenix has not competition in Phoenix because they seem to take forever to upgrade their network for more HD channels.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
