"preparing me for the afterlife?"

Hahahahahahahaha
Damnit Griffin, will you ever shake up your position atop my list of favorite Joystiq employees?
Griffin McElroy is my hero.
I could've told ya that about three hours ago.
The pocket sized booth babe should be about the size of a Fleshlight...

Oh.
Justin is busy perfecting his butter cookie recipe.
efw,
Last I checked DI was for a broader torque curve and more power per liter, not necessarily less CO/2 out-put.

BigWill,
That additional couple grand in price gets you a larger, presumably more capable vehicle that also happens to get very slightly better gas mileage. Also, having a 17% larger displacement means you put out more power? (3.0 vs 3.5) No way!

MikeW,
18/24 with a six is pretty crappy considering that's what a Ford Flex or Acadia/Enclave/Outlook/Traverse gets, and they're all much larger.

Nozferat,
GM's been making good stuff for a good half decade now, and they keep getting better. Sure, their transformation isn't as visible or time-bending as that of Kia or Ford lately, but it's still notable. How about instead of getting panties bunched and butts hurt over the government bailouts (of which a lot of companies are taking) you shut up, stop posting comments on forums and go watch some O'Reilly. I hear he's the preacher to your choir.

And finally neptronix,
Just because your two decade old bimmer doesn't offer Direct Inject doesn't mean that Direct Inject is the son of Satan.

That title would be reserved for the Toyota Yaris or Chevrolet Aveo.

There. I think my work is done here.
Lol @ Bomb-omb saying "ENOUGH with the fanboys." and then proceeding to make a very fanboy-like comment.

Anyway, I find the 31 MPG fairly impressive on the new Tucson, and yeah technically it's not in the same class as the Equinox (if the Equinox is a compact crossover than what is the Tucson? or perhaps the Equinox is considered a mid-sized crossover now?) but it will be cross-shopped against it. Being priced a couple grand cheaper than it gurantees this.

But yeah, let's just agree to say that both the Equinox and the Tucson have impressive MPG numbers.

And let's please stop talking about the Prius and Insight - I just got done eating.
You picked up both TF2 and CS:S individually without getting The Orange Box?!

Impressive.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
